MISSING GIRL, NEED HELP
Guys, Girl goes by the name "Jen" was working at Long gun. Her Isaan named is pronounced "Ken". About 9 days ago, she dropped out of sight. No one can find her, she does not answer her phone. No passport. We contacted some of her regulars and they don't know where she is. Family is VERY concerned. Management at LG are aware of the situation, people ar elooking but we can't find her.
No tattoos, 18 yo. Typical Isaan otherwise. She has hung out in Nana, Gullivers, etc.......
Please PM with any info.

In a missing persons case we normally have a check list something like this…
Has anyone filed a missing persons report with the police?
Has anyone checked the hospitals?
Has anyone checked the local temples?
Has anyone checked the morgues?
You mention that she has no Passport! But does she have a (Valid) Thai ID?
Assuming she has a valid ID and that she also has a Thai Bank Account/ ATM Card!
Has anyone checked her bank statements to see where she was when she last withdrew and/or deposited any cash?
Assuming she has a mobile phone!
Has anyone checked her mobile telephone records call list to see where she was located the last time she used her mobile either to receive or make a call?
Assuming she has an emailaccount!
Has anyone sent an email to her account just to see if it is opened by her or someone else?

TPE II's checklist is a an excellent way to be organised about this...and like they say "just the facts"...
I'd also add history - Has she done this type of thing before? If so, it’s less of a worry.
And if she has deliberately disappeared - does anyone have any idea why? - Money owed etc?
Big problem with these sorts of things is that the more you ask around and the more people who try to "help" the more false leads, false sightings, and false info ("I heard that her sister got a call from her" etc) you get.
Also you might consider searching her crib. Where does she live/sleep? Lots of the LG girls live "above" the bar. If this departure was planned you will most likely find some evidence of that in her "room" -check with her room mates / girlfriends / "sisters" as to what is missing from the room - clothes, make-up, photos, etc.
Finally, nine days is a long time, if you are going to call in TPE II or similar do so immediately. Enjoy.

She will most likely turn up, probably with an excuse full of contradictions.
Had one who I cared a lot for disappear for over 20 days. I knew the deal & never expected exclusivity from her (so she could tell me she was 'working'). We used to talk just about every day, then she went off the air just like in your case.
I was genuinely concerned for her, which eventually had me frantic, something I will not let happen again.
In my case the excuse was that she went up-country, phone in water, no money from not working, back to BKK, got lucky with a punter who took her to Cambo for a couple of weeks, pranked me from Cambo on various phones but no money to ring, back to BKK, bought phone & called me.
Well it was plausable, but it doesn't quite work, does it? and I am sure when you hear your girls story, you will feel the same....TIT
Strangely, back in BKK she left her bar of several years.
Who knows what really happened, or what goes on in these girls lives, that we do not see.
BUT, I do genuinely hope yours is ok, and she gets in touch, and that her disappearance does not mess with your head too much.
I was really f***ed from such an experience, so I think I know how you feel.

Talked to her tonight on the phone. Loaded on things she should not be taking. To the farang guy who hangs out at LG and likes to share his yaba with bg's..... this is not a threat, but when I see you I will make sure the thai police do a search and send you away. if you want to ruin your life, fine with me, but you have helped in a major way to ruin a young girls life (and a relative) and now it is personal.
she is still not home and did nothing but cry on the phone. trying to bring her back home. we all have fun in the nightlife but sometimes it gets the best of the girls. this may have happened without her ever being in the nightlife, but the bar scene sure didn't help.
my thanks to those who have taken a few minutes out of their life to help. she is still not back home so if anyone does talk with her, please pm me so we can come and get her and send her back to the village. the mom is coming to bkk tomorrow to help and will take her back with her.

Ditto, thailife. One thing to enjoy the nightlife, another thing to aid in the destruction of a life. I've watched BG's and friends of BG's succumb to yaabaa (my TGF's 1st boyfriend and father of her kid was a yaabaa addict, so she kicked his ass out). Not a pretty sight, and IMHO creating a meth dependency is not something punters should willingly be a party to.

I really doubt that the falahng who shares his yaba with BGs at LG will fall into any serious trouble, unless you physically assault him
the police won't be too interested in your revenge, and after all it's about a BG, which the police already have plenty of contempt for
I am sorry to hear this story from you ThaiLife, but it seems to me a glaring example of why NOT to send your children off to work in a bar to pay off family debts
