ok, we have tried it before but for what ever reason, the LA RT never took place.
technically I will be available for the RT from 8/31 - 9/4, but the ideal date for me would be 9/3 which is a Friday.
i have never been to Thai Town, would be cool to meet up at Thai Town for maybe a dinner and go on from there.
any ideas ? locations ? dates ? time ? etc.

Can you stay until Sunday 9/5? I know of a party including DJ's and a fashion show that evening in Thai Town. I vaguely know one of the models and she's a knockout.
Otherwise if I'm in town I'm game for Friday evening 9/3. There's the Palm Restaurant featuring our version of Thai Elvis. Food's actually very good.

it will be cool for the bros coming in from near by areas cause following Mon. will be a holiday. if any bros need a place to stay Fri / Sat night, my parents place is avaiable, might have to sleep on the floor or couch tho

Friday night works for me (if I'm in town), but it does rule out The Stone as a place to hang since Fridays are their gay night. The Stone is the only real bar/club in the area -- all of the other places are restaurants that double as clubs. I think you vets of restaurants like these know what I'm talking: most guests are sitting at large round tables buying food and bottles of booze (or buckets of beer), there's usually live entertainment or karaoke, sometimes there's a dance floor. The Stone is a bar, the only tables are small cocktail tables, there's a small stage and a DJ booth, and lots of room to dance and mingle. Saturdays at the Stone are usually fun, but on a holiday weekend it's probably hit or miss.
