According to the official thread for RT dates,

The December 2004 RT is on the 18th, which is a Saturday. In the same post, it declares that the RTs will be on the 2nd last Friday. As per the thread, December is an exception, not being on Friday the 24th, but instead on a previous date.
Just to clarify: is the Saturday intentional? Or should it be on the 17th, the Friday prior to the second last Friday?
