I agree with SO5 there should be a definite day each month and everyone can plan accordingly.
My recommendation would be the last Friday of each month. I think is should be on a weekend night as I did not get home until 3:00 AM during this month's RT and many members have to work here.
A definite day also allows many bros the time to make excuses to their TG's Monthly meeting of the foreign legions club dear....

My first visit to LOS was this past Dec-Jan After the first couple of days I said "Bangkok is nice, but I doubt I'll come back again". I just booked my third trip this year and I will be in town Aug 28-Sept 7. End of the month is great for me, but either way I'm sure to hook up with some of the BROS. Damn I' hooked bad ! Already Planning my December trip. HELP !!!!!

The idea of fixing a certain Friday of a month was a good idea, in fact, that was the way, it was, until, I realized that I couldn't attend that very day! 
Yes, weekends work well in most cases, since this would allow expats working here to meet up with other brothers from out of town. I will definitely try to set it during weekends. We had an RT on Monday at CM2. It was a great night since it was Lady's Night, and so it worked out well. 
As for the same venue, well, I guess that could be a good idea, and I am sure the owner of that establishment could work out some discount for us! What's your vote? Gulliver's Tavern? Saddle Club? Bamboo Bar?

Cmore how about Aug. 7th the day you joined the forum.
BK my vote is for the Saddle Club, it seems nice enough and you do not have to guess who is a member of the board and who's not since we are the only ones there. They would probably be open for a discount arrangement too.

Nobody touched mine in After School......
The katoey Ducks mentions seems to have been later, but I had a long converstaion with one person and I'd be very surprised if it was, may have to go back look again....I was pretty shit faced by that time however.
