I find his absence quite conspicuous too.
Where else could you find a guy who is as long winded as he is smart.
And who repeats what has been said 3 posts ago, but in about 10 times as many words. I had him pegged as a hard-working journalist who has had his copy shredded by an evil sub-editor's sword on more than one occasion.
BTF was probably the only place where he could write as many words as he wanted and be called an intellectual for it.

Really nice to know the whole world is missing this jolly good fellow. I have been wondering what the hell might he have gotten to. I don't hink he would stay away from the board for so long, unless compelled by circumstances. He always replies to PMs, so I have wondered why I haven't recd a reply in 3 months. I was to drop another PM to him now when I happened on this thread by chance. I will send that now. Don't want to lose touch with a jolly chap like that, ja.
