Well, for those of us raging against the (admittedly sickening) injustice of being on the wrong side of 40, I thought I'd point out 3 reasons for good cheer:
1) Things are better now on the antiquity front than they're ever going to be in future.
2) There couldn't possibly be a better place to be a middle-aged skirt chaser than LOS. For most practical purposes, it genuinely doesn't matter.
3) Since they've had the decency to invent V, the biggest fear for the future is no more.
In short, if you have to be 40-plus (and it seems that you do), there has NEVER been a better time or place to suffer from this affliction.
Just think of all those poor, suffering 20 & 30-somethings eking out some miserable apology for existence back in farangland. Some of these unfortunates have never even made it to LOS once in their lives. Now that's what I call genuinely heart-breaking...

All those poor, suffering 20 & 30-somethings buying their over-inflated drinks in the farangland nightclubs, watching all the cock-teasing young things dancing with each other and knowing damn-well that they don't have a chance in hell of screwing any of them EVER.

One more thing. In the not-quite-a-year I've been in LOS, I've noticed that time has decellerated markedly. Subjectively, this has been a LONG time. Back in farangland, the years just seemed to strobe past faster and faster...
Oops. Mustn't sell the place too hard, or everyone will want to come here and there'll be fewer girls for me. Talking of which, when does this f...ing tourist season end?

I post quite often on other boards and have just discovered this forum. Really great.
I've mongered for 43 years all over the world and don't look to change my life style.

I had to go all the way back to the begining of this thread to catch up from my last post. Don't fret about adding those years.Given the limited alternatives it is a good thing to look forward to celebrating another birthday.
The other positive aspect is that the older that you get , the more you appreciate the experiences that you log. The downside is that you just can't experience them as often as you would like

To sum up ,
A man is only as old as the girl he FEELS (UP).
By that reckoning I was around 32 years last Saturday - but am hitting 55 today .
My real age ? That's difficult to answer because ( to paraphrase Bill Cosby ) "I can never seem to remember my age - it keeps changing every year ".
But jokes aside - I am 53 years old , married for 29 years to the same woman who is now 55 , have 2 sons aged 28 and 26 - the eldest being married .
Was that a bit too much information ??
