Besides a phone number, LA bitches also give a dirty look. But there is more to that. It's a front. They can be very very nasty.
I have a great idea for April roundtable. There is a great place in Buena Park called Thai Captain. On the weekends they have live entertainment featuring oldies, look-tong, moor-laam, and cheesy Thaiu cha cha cha. Lots of babes too. I would offer up this pkace for songkran and I can make reservations.

I like this idea - if we don't make a trek to S.F. for an RT with BK.....
Captains Table is across from Knotts Berry Farm and also Thai Nakkorn - a good fallback Thai restaurant that server great Chiang Mai, Yum style food. Their dessert specialty is mango, sweet rice with cononut milk.

Most definately indeed was a night to remember.
First time I've met brothers en masse outside of Thailand, and fun indeed it was. Killerflix was delightful to talk to as well as Daffy and Graeme, Ronnie, Mokewan, Asian Man. Though TWD did not put miles on elevator as would be the norm in LOS, great fellowship with fellow BKT Brothers was had. Daffy especially was a true gentleman, and his sidekick Graeme was a rib-splitter, with rappier wit, and rat-a-tat rapid fire banter.
The light skinned waitresses at Chaba were outstanding, in both appearance and manners, making the food taste even better.
Following the Chan Derrette' excursion, Ronnie, Asian Man and me made it over to "Lava Lounge" in Gardena to what I thought was an Asian danceclub. It took two phone calls, (thank Buddha for cells), and what it resulted in was a bunch of couches and tables in a true Lounge fashion. The server though, Mirabelle, (Peruvian asian?), was personable and easy on the eyes.
So did TWD get fed? Yes, food was good, but overpriced. Did TWD get laid? No. Mongering was not on the menu. And yes, wifey does drop me at the airport with the admonishment to "be safe, ok, have a good time, be safe".
Asian Man and Ronnie were both great conversationalists and further plans are made for future outtings.
As Mokewan metioned, the LA Brotherhood envisions a monthly get together, and all lurkers are welcome. Hopefully next month a table for twenty will be required. And it won't be raining.

S. Calif Bros (and anyone else),
I want to invite all to a VIP tour of the museum that I am an interpretive historian at. This is the hidden gem of S. Calif, Fort MacArthur Musuem. Fort Mac was the HQ of the LA Harbor Defenses from 1917-1974. We are one of the few restored 20th Century Coastal Artillery installations left and we have a great site, incl underground tunnels and several WW1, WW2, and Cold War-era vehicles (they work and we do use them). Here is our website (www.ftmac.org). If you go to EVENTS, you will see a picture of Huell Houser. He did a big show at our museum last February to commemorate the mysterious LA Air Raid of 1942. We had the post commander that was there in 1942 and several soldiers and civillians that witnessed this. Funny thing, they all have a different theory as to what happened. We had the Sanyo blimp show up and we played cat and mouse with our two fully restored 1941 Sperry Searchlights. This occurred while we blasted our WW2 air raid sirens.
We are doing this event again on Feb. 26 and we are having on of our tri-annual swing dances (we always get alot of Asian girls at this).

Thanks for the invite Noknoi, but I'll be in BKK on Feb.26.
OC sounds fine for another meeting, as long as we don't have to drive during rush hour to get there. IMO if we meet at 8 pm or later, than any location and day of the week is fine. But if we meet before 8 than I'd prefer weekends over weekdays. Hopefully Captain Thai is open a little later than 11 pm.
Speaking of OC, has anybody else been to certain Vietnamese coffee houses in Westminster where the waitresses are dressed in lingerie? Amazing eye candy!

it was awesome meeting all the bros in person.
good summery of the night moke.
Chaba had awesome food and staff ( our waitress ) her thai out fit was soooooo cute.
Chan Darette seems to be a "hip" place to hang, drinks were good, regulars were friendly, and few hotties.
i got few pics of the bros at Chaba and Chan Darette, so should I send them to BK and have him posted or....
like to thank all the bros for making it an awesome Jan. LA RT, and making my trip to LA that much better, hope to see the bros again in end of Mar.
thanks to TWD for driving me all over the place and showing me where all the mp's are

Action at Thai Captain is on Fri and Sat nights. Sonkran would be perfect but anytime else is fine. Action does ot start until about 9PM and goes until 1-2AM. I will probably run into my Thai ex-wife.
However, let me know. For Songkran it is good to make reservations 1 month in advance. Damn I wish I were in LOS for Songkran, but no sweat. I will there May 16!!!! For seven weeks!!!!!!
