As you know, the Khmer gangs are the most brutal gangs in LA. In the 90s, there was a big gang war in LB between the Khmers and Mexicans. The Mexicans settled on a truce.
There are alot of Khmer settlements in South Central LA and the kids have taken on alot of Hispance influences and characterisitcs, esp with the English they speak. When I first me this girl, I thought she was Mayan, but when she told me her name, I knew she was Khmer. She is not really a chola, but has the whole street accent, dress, etc..
I love those Nana Plaza cholas.

And what about the Sri Lankan Cholas
The Cholas, were a Tamil-speaking people of south India, founders of a dynasty that dominated the area from the 10th to the 13th century. The Chola Kingdom, in what is now Tamil Nadu State, probably existed as early as the 1st century AD, but its prominence dates from the mid-9th century, when it began conquering neighboring territories. Rajendra I (reigned 1016-44), the greatest of the Chola kings, ruled Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Sri Lanka. He campaigned as far north as the Ganges River and sent naval expeditions to Burma and the Malay Peninsula. Kulottunga I (reigned 1070-1122) united the Chola domains with those of the Eastern Chalukyas in Andhra Pradesh, forming the Chalukya-Chola dynasty. It declined after 1200, finally dying out in 1279.
From the late 3rd century AD to the middle of the 12th century, Sinhala (Ceylon) was dominated by Tamil kings and by a succession of invaders from southern India. Native princes regained power briefly in the late 12th century and again in the 13th century. From 1408 to 1438 Chinese forces occupied the island of Sinhala, which had been partitioned into a number of petty kingdoms.

Ditto...Thai Captain is a great place to hang out. Noknoi showed me photo of his TG - no wonder he spends so much time in BKK!!!!!
Has a late date with two transplanted TG's - both in the states for over 20 years. They both seemed to have adjusted nicely. Except for the smiles, it is hard to tell them apart from the other farangs.
They have achieved the status of "Thairangs? and can bust your balls with the best of their US farand sisters.
Should have stayed at Thai Captain ot headed up to Chaba.

I tried to Mac on our waitress who turned out to be hardcore Thairang bitch with not even an accent. However, I had some cute Thai-Lao conversation with one of the waitresses from Nakon Sawon. She was alot nicer.
Moke went his way and I went home and had a long talk with LTGF. Things look really bad but I will not be taken to the Chinese cleaners. Pretty depressing actually but there are several million more where she came from.
ANNOUNCEMENT-Riceman will be on TV. Tune in to Huell Howser's Visiting on Februrary 23 at 6PM. Huell will be re-broadcasting last years' special on Fort MacArthur on the subject of the Great LA Air Raid of February, 1942. You can not miss me. I will be in my 1941 GI digs and you will keep seeing me deliberately inserting myself into the camera, esp towards the end.
