- USA has shown in recent years a willingness to send troops to distant sites.
- Norway has a historic reputation of being an easy target.

Guys DON'T stress,, your good mates in Australia have enough known reserves of "shale oil" to last the world a few hundred years. I has always been a known source but suddenly becoming a viable alternative when turned into Diesel.If the Arabs get TOO greedy it becomes viable @around US$ 1.30 per litre, same for Palm Oil and the latest I heard cat-fish oil out of Vietnam)

its cool out here but I prefer san fran (pang mak mak) or atlanta to LA....my job is the reason I am here but hopefully we will be opening an office in san fran or back south in the next 2 years...
put it this way, a studio out here is minimum $380,000 bucks..
my old 2 bedroom condo in atlanta was $270,000 in midtown and kick ass but out here would be at least $700,000...screw that
california is cool but you need $$$$$

& I live in NYC dude... high prices for real estate is nothing new for me... not that I can afford to buy at this point... i'll probably be renting out some ghetto ass studio or sharing an apt w/a roomie when I get out there... lol.

I'm asian (from the U.S.) and i've been living in Bangkok for about a year and a half now. It's allright but I think the reality of living in Thailand is much much different than the occasional visit. I maintain a regular Thai girlfriend these days but I haven't stopped reading these forums. There's another big board devoted to bkktonite style punter discussions called sammyboy that has mostly singaporeans but they all post in english. Some of them have been visiting BKK for decades so it's a great source of information from an asian perspective. I met a few members there before and they were fun to hang out with. Some were even fluent in Thai..
