However there is one more piece of the puzzle remaining which may be a little harder to deduce and only BK can confirm whether it is fact or not. Of course if we do have an RT on August 28th, I could attend the London RT and the Bangkok RT in the same month.

Re a regular place - still think GT is the best, simply because many guys have varying schedules, and at least at GTs some girls/food/action whatever time you get there, 6pm till 2am - so if your waiting for people to arrive, not too boring - also of course, with R/Ts, its not the initial meeting point thats so important ... but where all the bros end up !

Although a fixed day / date does have it's plus points , I feel that for the members of this Forum this may not be the best option . The reason ?
Correct me if I am wrong , but it seems to me that for various reasons not many of the local members attend RTs and the large percentage of attendees are visitors to LOS . This fact and also the hospitality factor should make us give more consideration to the visitors .
Obviously , many visitors would not be able to plan a visit on a fixed day / date every month - and hence I feel that consenus taking each month would be a good way of planning an RT that would allow for maximum number of visitors to attend .

agree with Arramsay ... many people come and go on this forum and most people attending the RT's aren't expats ... so to keep it more flexible ...
all options are still open but a slight preference for:
28th : happy birthday thursday
29th: happy friday
30th : happy saturday

I have to disagree with Arramsey. If you look at the list in the thread on July's RT you will see most of the people attending are residents of Thailand. Some visitors who put their schedule on the forum did not make it for whatever reason.
Remember BK is running this FOC and he has a regular job, having a fixed date simplifys things for him as well.

I've realised that the London RT will be on my only Saturday night in London since March 2002. I think I'd better spend it with my friends at home, though if it's a certain bunch I will be in the basement of the Kings Head, which I thought had been mentioned as a venue for part of the London RT.
A nice idea to do both RT's but not practical.

I really like that katoey/yurune story, to bad I couldnt be there to obbserve.
he usually accuses me of being drunk.
I think a fixed date prefferably on a friday is good. personally I think saddle club sucks. nothing there. I think that the venues should be changed every time.
gullivers, bamboo (until it has to go), midnite, I mean there are some great venues and pubs around town.

and that buffalo pub (former rileys) seems to be popular among members these days. maybe a good idea to have the next RT there. I also think it is a good idea to support individuals and their venues, testing out new joints and not hotel chains (saddle = grace hotel) I support grace hotel already enough the way it is...
but that's just IMHO.
