I personally have not done the clubs, so I'll be interested in your perspectives.
I have, however spent a small fortune "otherwise".
The "otherwise" will be discussed over beers at the RT.

Thanks for getting back to me guys! Looks like we have Asian Man, mokewen, Thin White Duke and me confirmed for Saturday September 4 in Thai Town, and ABC & hzink tentative pending travel arrangements. If anyone else is interested PM me for details.
We may have to do a follow-up with HarryP or any other bro's that can't make that evening.
TWD, very interested in your Korean p4p research. If you're talking about here in LA, but not the club scene, I think that only leaves karaoke/hostess bars or MP's. You'll have to share your findings over a few beers on the 4th.

BTW, I've been to Le Prive. It really helps to know a waiter there who can hook you up -- one who can get you a good table, who can convince a girl to get "booked", etc. It's also helpful, but not required, to go with someone that speaks Korean.

hzink -- Thought you were heading to LOS in August with the nephew; have you pushed that back? If you're in town next Saturday (21st) consider catching The Stone. Dance contest, fashion show & guest DJs, $10 cover.

AM -- I don't know who threw the party or what they were celebrating, but there was a pretty good crowd with a lot of talent on hand. Gorgeous bartender too, although she's not the regular Saturday bartender. No cover last night, no shows of any kind. On the 5th the Stone is hosting a fashion show plus guest DJs. A recent poster I saw of this event lists 7 sponsors. I expect a large crowd, even on a holiday weekend.
