My vote is still for the pool party. I will be cruising the bars anyway on my own time and can do that any time during my trip. It would be nice to do something as a group that can't really be done as an individual. If I wanted to go meet girls, I wouldn't even come to the the round table. I thought the point was to meet some of the fellow brothers, shoot some shite, and maybe even learn a thing or two. I think a pool party would be a great relaxing scene to do so.

Isee, lets not infer anything that wasn't obviously intended.
who is going to throw who in the pool? To be honest, it never crossed my mind. I just presumed that everyone would have enough respect for each other to keep it kind, courteous, and fun in a relaxed social environment. But I guess that's just me always looking towards the best outcome. Perhaps not the best outlook to have with this group, but I try.
I don't know about that fever myth, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
I just thought it would be nice to relax for once to BS and hang out with the boys without getting hammered for drinks, barfines, where you come froms, and how long you stay heres.
Its not that I'm completely against going to hang out at the bars. However, that's something I'm going to do the day before, the day after, and for several days afterward. I just think it woud be nice to have the RT stand out as the highlight of my trip as being something "different."

This actually does happen when members meet in person. You wouldn't know it by reading some of the posts on the board, though.
I was in Timbventtu (sp?) last night, checked out the pool, talked to some of the girls there (not bad, I might add). There is one that promised to swim with me if I came back, I might do that tonight. :madwink: Anyone game?
Anyway, for a pool party, I would really suggest bringing TGs to this place, or going on a Saturday night when they advertise a party. Although there are girls there that will swim if patrons do the same, I imagine they will not all do that. I "BYO pool party" at this place would really rock if everyone brought a TG or two. Maybe a little late to plan it for this month.
Then again, what do I know, I think I will be gone by the time the RT comes around. Believe it or not, I'm trying to get out of here earlier instead of later!
