I'm pretty much withb Dumsoda on that issue, and while I certainly liked LY at one point, it's far too obvious to pretty much everyone that LY's got a major drinking problem, and his reply to Oz make it pretty clear that he's in direct denial (which just corroborates this observation). All the Schadenfreude aside, this is sad, in fact, it's very sad, but the signs have been pointing to this for a long time, and have, in fact, been increasing regularly.
As per LY's final conclusive statement: "I've taken some time out to wonder WTF made me do such a horrible thing, and the only answer is the booze, so my next RT will be alcohol free, assuming I'd be allowed in.", he may be coming around to admitting he's got an issue -- though it sounds like this was a reactive admission, not a pro-active (i.e. "Yeah, yeah, I gotta problem, now shut up").
Making it through one RT without boozing next week may be a step in the right direction, but the best and only path would be making it through every day without any booze - which may be a far tougher road.
Watching someone self-destruct like that is always a sad and unfortunate spectacle, and, sadly, again, LY is not alone in that respect - there's quite a few candidates fit for the same encounter group...

LY to be honest I don’t think you woke up the next day and realized you had done such a bad thing I think you woke up the next morning and realized you were in the shit and you need to fix things before you get a kicking. Well that’s what I can read from your posts.
Personally I think anyone that lays a finger on a girl deserves the kicking of his life so good luck on that one

Let me type VERY slowly so that you can understand.
My signature simply implies that one should enjoy the delights, but not form attachments....nothing more....nothing less.....maybe I should have listened to my own advice a long time ago...
I treat all the girls well, even though I don't play the field anymore.....and always enjoy the time I spend in LOS.
I have no concerns about "my" reputation and always receive an enthusiastic welcome upon my return.
What I am REALLY angry about... (Disgusted would probably be a more fitting word)...is when I read or hear of acts like this happening.
Don't know the circumstances, but that's irrelevant...anyone that physically abuses a lady has serious issues that need to be addressed.
Slag off at me all you like and twist things any way you want to, but at the end of the day take a good hard look in the mirror
Personally, I think paddyc01 hit the nail on the head with his post.
