I am looking for the services of an expat in the following field of employment.
TUK TUK DRIVER FOR THE SUKHUMVIT - PATPONG- SILOM - WATTANA AREAS OF BANGKOK.
They must possess and be of the following :-
1) A current tuk tuk drivers license for Bangkok.
2) Have a good knowledge of local landmarks, hotels,
shopping malls, bars/disco's and the like.
3) Be of sound mind and sober temperament.
4) Able to blend in with the local environment.
5) Can be male/female (no discrimination)
6) Work from 8pm-6am.
7) Must be able to speak fluent England English,
American and Australian.
I am 5'3" tall, black hair, heavily suntanned and wear old dirty ripped T shirts, jeans and a really obese person and have no problem with the locals. Some of you may have seen me outside Nana or Soi Cowboy.
I frequently do the Dr Love tours around BKK. Sometimes the Dr's group head to Pattaya, so they climb into my little tuk tuk and set sail south. It is a 4.5 hr trip to Pattaya so I have installed a cooler in the back of the tuk tuk to carry 4 doz beers and ice. It is a long journey and the Dr. takes over the wheel while I have a little nap, you may have seen the Dr. behind the wheel, give him a toot on the horn next time you see him.
This can be a rewarding profession for those interested. You will only pick up westener's and they give very big tip's.
I was employed in BKK as a massuse, worked in 7/11 stores, school teacher and motor bike taxi driver and found this job very satisfying. If there is a need, I will buy another tuk tuk, a bit of empire building.
