Guys,
First and foremost, you guys are great. This Forum is a great help for 1st timers.
Coming to Bangkok for the first time. Will be staying in Manhattan Hotel for 3 night. Hoping to visit the following;
1. NEP
2. CM2
Any other suggestions..? Getting to the above destination is walking distance from the Hotel..?

NEP - yes, easy walking distance.
CM2 - I wouldn't. Better take a cab. Tell the driver to take you to Novotel Siam Square. Nothing happens until late: 11 PM+

I am also a 1st timer. I am planning to go to Bangkok on end of Sept or early Oct or end of Oct early Nov for a week...
I too, planned to stay in Manhattan Hotel. what is the time frame that you are planning to go?....wana go together?or meet somewhere when we get to the airport or hotel? by the way, i am living in Canada; what geographic location are you in?

( IMO ) It's a great idea to try to hook up with one or more of the member bro's.

Manhattan Hotel is about mid way between NEP and soi Cowboy. Less than 10 minutes from either place so walking is no problem.
At busy times, Sky train is much quicker than cab to get around. Nearest station is Asoke, about 5 miutes from Manhattan hotel. To go to CM2, take skytrain to Siam Square.

Are the naked ladies back in NEP?
Last time I checked (Stickman's) there was a crackdown on naked flesh in Nana.
Have been in LOS oct. 2001, first visit, will visit again 20th July 2003. Since I booked a week ago have been reading a lot on the net.
