agree with that, though my agent is a bucket shop and has access to blocks of seats on international flights at rates that are better than Travelocity (up to certain date before the flight, of course!).
On domestic flights, this agent can't beat the internet.

$600-$650 is about the going rate. The prices have increased slighty thanks to the higher oil prices. Some airlines such as China Air, Aisana & United Air will often offer prices below or near the $600 price.

$600-$650 on China Airlines is the standard rate. What I'm looking for is something akin to the insane rate Asiana was offering a while back ($425), as that would make me almost immediately fly back to BKK for an extended weekend or a week or something.
