In Phuket we only do serious water play only one day. Makes more sense. Things in Pattaya get quite out of control....a number of people I know just leave the area...some actually use Songkhran for a visa run.

Can anyone offer some more feedback on Songkran in Pattaya?
RE The dates, the number of girls (is the week before or after time for holidays back home?) and whether it's worth going down to Pattaya for it or is it more enjoyable / tolerable in BKK and or other parts of kingdom?
Older feedback seems 50/50 but some of the negative comments rang true for me (idiot punters & ex pats playing Rambo and a "lets soak the farang" attitude from some locals), was anyone there for 2005?

12th to the 19th in Pattaya.
If you are in to S&M you will realy enjoy it, get a friend to chain you to a utility pole by any of the beer bars down Beach Road.

My guess is there would be a lot of girls who will go home "around" this time - before after and during - but that the numbers would even out as the girls know this is prime earning time. It's Pattaya - there are always plenty of girls - I'd be more worried about making sure that I had a confirmed booking at a well located hotel as this is a "peak" period. Enjoy.

In Pattaya, do you get water/powder thrown on you during the day up till a certain time? ie, water play stops in the evening and you can then dress up for a night out or is it 24/7?
