Am I reading things correctly in this topic - gosh I hope not! Do you guys mean to tell me that after all the cash you have spent in Los - no expense spared - bar fining girls - paying 3000 odd bahts for an LT and even giving a tip of 500 or 1000 bahts for good service - perhaps buying the girls clothes/presents and dinning her - plus the added extras - which we all do and not.forgetting barfines and ladydrinks etc. that you are going to be such "cheap skates" as to try and hope to avoid the miserly 500 bahts = 11 dollars = £7 to try and avoid the airport departure charge. Come on - get a life! Hey accept it - anywhere else you travel to the airport tax is included in your fare and I doubt if you query that? If you can't spend the extra £7 what the hell are you doing visiting the LOS in the first place.Its folk like that give us falangs a bad name. please don't let it appear that all such falangs are so tight fisted cos it reflects badly on the rest of us. When in Rome or in this case Bkk we complywiththelaw of the country andassuch cause much less hassle for ourselves and others about us. A law is a law and we sould abide by it and say, on reflection - 500 bahts is it such a big deal I think not
