Delta, in this case i was referring to what was the first batch of 777 (which were all 200s) that Thai Air got where they put both in business and in economy one extra seat per row -compared to the ones that SIA got. Later Thai air got more spacious 777.
i have no clue about 238 series versus 200. i am getting the impresion that you know more than i do .... so i will not say much more

Back in 1996 I once flew with Singapore Airlines in a 747-something, but to and from the Philippines. I liked their service a lot, had this small screen in front of me and... even had a night in Singapore. To LOS I am usually flying SAS as this fits me best in regard of service, rate and the times of arrival and departure.

Btw, Emirates has very good rates between Europe and Asia -with one stopover mid-way, which when flying economy sometimes makes the trip easier on the body

However remember if you are inbound Singapore on Singapore Airlines there are hazards on this airline particularly for male passengers on penagra...
- 42 year old German fined SGD$1500 for grabbing buttocks of SIA stewardess
- 40 year old Sri Lankan Ali Mohammed Omar fined SGD$1000 for hugging SIA stewardess
- 37 year old US oil rigger fined SGD$1000 for touching buttocks of 19 year old SIA stewardess
- 58 year old Japanese fined SGD$800 for touching buttocks of 29 year old SIA stewardess on flight from Tokyo
- 27 year old Indian on flight Madras to Singapore bit buttocks of 20 year old SIA stewardess fined SGD$1200
- Lee Chor Beng hugged a stewardess from behind, pinched another SIA stewardess' buttocks, fondled buttocks of a third on Beijing-Singapore flight, fined SGD$1000 on each count
- On a different note, in Jan94 SIA sacked (but on appeal reinstated with demotions) pilot and stewardess found together in locked toilet Bombay-Singapore.

You mean that touching breasts are ok? Or that SIA customers go for buttocks? Interesting that bitting gets almost as much a fine as a simple grabbing.
BTW, it is surprising that only inbound flights will be fined in Singapore. duh!

The point is if you were flying Singapore-Rome I don't think Italian jurisprudence would be much troubled by these events. (Possibly the bite one). İThey only seem to prosecute in Singapore. A conviction and fine of that magnitude as distinct from a caution is harsh not to say remarkable, but This Is Singapore.
The buttocks fetish is interesting since it is consistent across all SIA customer nationalities. İOne can only conclude that the most interesting anatomical feature of an SIA hostess is her bum. Any opinions?

Please refer to my previous post - if you are sitting in an aisle seat such as I favour, having wide shoulders, you are constantly being brushed by those gorgeous little oriental buttocks - maybe it İgets to be a little too much for some guys, particularly if they've been drinking too much... just makes a very long flight a little more pleasurable for polite guys like me .

I was kidding on my comment about the inbound flights In Singapore you will find info about cases in Singapore, which will mostly involve inbound flights . Yes, I agree with you, in Europe unlikely that they will prosecute the guy only for that.
On the buttocks thing, I think it is mostly a matter of reach: easier to go for the buttocks when seated.
Anyway, probably too drunk these men that have to resort to pinching buttocks on flights to satisfy their hormonal urges.
