Hi!
Looking for a TG ticket to Europe for GF. She needs to get the reservation to show the embassy than to issue the icket. I would pay it with CC from France. Which company could do it? AW?? Any other??
Is it easier to deal directly with TG??

I do not know about TG but I bought a ticket for my Singapore GF from United whilst I was in the US. I had to take my CC to a United counter to verify and the ticket was issued her in Singapore by United.
Another way is to use a local travel agent to issue the ticket for you and express it to her in BKK.
Finally you might go to the Thai Airways office in Paris and have an eTicket issued in her name, the Embassy could confirm it with TG in BKK.

You can contact sales@travelcentral.com.au they not only have an office in Australia but also an office in Pattaya, you can send them an email and their Pattaya office will assist you, so they not only have Thai staff but you can also deal directly with the Australian staff as well.

Thanks for your replies. This visa thing is already getting very upsetting. Need to get the paper from the city hall stating I can house GF which is a bit of an headache as I only rent offices and live in hotels. Managed to sweet mouth an official over the phone who I'd met before in my hometown (hundreds of kms away from where I work) and had my grandfather to sign the paperwork on my behalf. Completely illegal but she obliged kindly. Mayor signed the paper as well and when I came back to Paris stressed out after a 4 days disapointing exhibition I opened the letter only to find out... my grandfather used his own signature : (
Go figure... no way to send it to the french embassy along my passport, very diferent sigs : ( ( ( (
It seems both grandfather and official were as clueless as they decided together on which sig to use. No wonder why some people live on minimum wages...
Anyway called the city hall to tell the paper had been torned by staff while opening a bunch of letters and applied for a new one. Now have been waiting for the mayor to take time and sign it since yesterday and won't come before monday afternoon. GF won't be able to follow on a 10 days biz trip to Spain end of this month and I have no longer mood to go there.
1 meter snow in Chisanau and no direct fly.
Hhhmmhhmmmm...

Back to the original question,,,,,,,,
There is NIL NO ZERO problems getting an air-ticket purchased in Thailand. Get g/f to go to travel agent so name on ticket etc will be 100% correct then organise for you to telephone in your credit card details,,,,easy as that.
P.S If it is your gals first overseas trip do her a favour and pay the bit extra for her to fly Thai,, not only will she be more relaxed with the Thai service but when she has trouble filling out the immigration forms etc etc she will have fluent Thai speaking people surrounding her that can help.

She would definetely fly thai, saw her filling an immigration form while flying to Sri Lanka and she definetely needs someone to oversee her.
About the CC details over the phone I called my regular agent in BKK and they said I'd need to sign the CC slip personnally. Might double check with their boss though.
Might as well fly along with her if this visa is put off a couple of weeks more, would solve a few problems I guess.

Probably this is too late to be any help but I have booked for my TG a flight starting in BKK-lon-BKK on travelocity.com, she can print the website booking etc.
Did this so that I could get her BKK-Lon flight to match the return part of my trip. About to do the same again.... I hope...
