Well, I do work in the travel business and Iused to think that I knew almost everything of Thailand when it comes to hotels, transportations etc...
BUT I was wrong....so very wrong!
I just fund what it seems to be a new airlines: ISAAN AIR!!! http://www.isaanair.com
I am still trying to figure out if it's a joke or a serious thing.....
If it's true, I'm afraid soon we will hear requests such as "Tilaak, my jet had an accident during landing, please send me 10,000USD to fix it...., with love Nok"

I have flown Nok Air several times
as far as I understand, they are a subsidiary of Thai Air
the way that they save costs is by using the same staff for many tasks
for instance, the same staff that check you in, will be the same ones on the aircraft as flight attendants
they also do not have any meals unless you pay for them extra
I don't think they are using sub-standard aircraft, 555
