Just arrive yesterday and surprised that the promised move of the taxis from the ground floor to the arrivals floor has occurred.
So no more struggling with the trolley on that travelator.

I need to get from the airport to Sukhumvit soi 2 around 1pm..Someone told me it would be better to have taxi take me to ON Nut skytrain stop and the just take skytrain from there..True?

loco1, which part of soi 2 do you need to get to? JW Marriot? Majestic Grande? Atlanta Hotel? Are you travelling light?
If it is JW Marriot and if you are travellling light, you can practically avoid most of the Sukhumvit Rd traffic at that time of the day. Once you get off the expressway near soi 1, you could just drop off at Krung Thai Bank and cross Sukhumvit Road via the overhead bridge to JW Marriot.
And if you are too lazy to walk, the taxi driver could get into soi 1, get through Bumrrungrad hospital to soi 3 and then to soi 2. If traffic is bad, it could take between 10-30 minutes.

A much better way to Soi 2 would be to cross over Sukhumvit and come off at PhleonChit South and U turn onto Soi 0 and slip through PhleonChit and presto you are on Soi 2 JWM directly in front, turn right to MG and through Rajah carpark (20Baht) to Soi 4 Turn left Nana turn right to 6/1 to get to Landmark etc.
Done it many times and surprised at the number of taxi drivers that do not know it.

Thanks..but I mean isn't it faster to get to On Nut Skytrain station from the airport (then take skytrain to soi 2) via taxi than all the way to Sik Soi 2 (majestic Grande) via taxi? or was my info wrong and I should just get taxi all the way in..and yes I am traveling light..

I will need to take taxi at teh airport directly to Hua Hin. Does anyone know approx cost? And will they agree to go there or should I go to some taxi service inside the terminal before?

Hi anyone know roughly how much the taxi fare is to/from the new airport to the Landmark hotel is the old rate at the old airport was 500 baht plus tolls I think?
