Tongkatali has the most awful taste you could imagine. It comes in a powder that you have to dissolve in water and drink it. The taste stays in your mouth and throat for a couple of hours (taking something else with a strong flavor immediately after help getting rid of the awful taste - like a spoonful of mustard).
You must take it every day and it takes well over a week until it builds up in your system and starts working. The good thing is that it works -if you can get past the taste.
I tried it some time ago. Works great; it is not about helping you with the erection but about having higher libido; more powerful orgasms and a more intense overall f***. Hell, I felt like possesed by a young horny ghost while I was on Tongkatali.
I got my hands in a few bags of the awful tasting podwer thanks to another forum brother who couldn't stomach its taste. After my initial feedback on the successful testing -taking it every day for well over a month, he asked for the stuff back. I understand since then he managed to repackage the powder into capsules and has been taken it this way. Perhaps he would care to tell us more about his recent experience?

Well I spent a whole day checking out china town and could not find Tongkat ali.. I had a paper with it written.. and the latin name.. and "Tung Saw" which it is suppose to be called in Thai and could not find it.. the chinese pharma didnt know what I was talking about?? I could use some help here guys?? I mean this stuff is sourced here in South East Asia.. why can't it be found???
Anyway find it in Bangkok?? please help if so?

It is actually sorced from Indonesia and to a lesser degree Malaysia! Fairly easy to get it in Bali or Jakarta but I guess not in Bangkok!

I tried too and got the blank stare. Not sure why none in thailand since it grows here too.
So China sailor or anyone who finds the right places to purchase and avoid the V / C pharma stuff would be a great help in directing any reliable source.

Sorry if I wasn't clear on this, whilst I know a little about it thanks to another Forum plus two members of this Forum who used or use it, I have never used it. I am very reliably told it tastes so foul that its gains are only marginally worth the "effort"!

i am taking pasak bumi which is similar to tongkat ali. I can safely say that after a few months of taking it daily, I have regained alot of the natural sexual energy of my younger years. mail ordered it from newrule.net which seems to be the real deal. a combination of pasak bumi madu and pria perkasa has really worked wonders for me. as someone else has already pointed out, its not an ED drug but acts more like a daily vitamin that promotes blood circulation. gee I sound like the writing on the box! :)

The best place to source Tongkat Ali is on the Internet and get it before you come. (I had it delivered to a hotel once on a long-stay)
There are several capsulated versions of the extract which is a heck of a lot better than taking the powder. I have also read that this stuff is great for boosting energy and as an anti-arthritic (EPC take note)...
