TOT are currently offering faster connections at reduced rate (e.g. 1024 kbps/590 THB, cf. current cost of 128-256 kbps for 500 THB).
Looks like a good deal, but I have heard rumours that the faster service actually has more problems than the basic one. Anyone with experience?

Correct. After an 'accident' with an excavator (which I believe was a made up story) the speed went downwards.
Speednet never gives a speed higher than 100-120 kbs.
However, since my package was upgraded to 2 mbs, the download speed with Flashget has doubled to 224Kbs.
Overall, I would say TOT is a good deal.

TOT is much better and consistent than TRUE
I was TRUE for 2 years and it was difficult to get a stable connection.
Now I am TOT 2048 kbps and since installation, it looks very stable + I have really promised speed. Sometimes lower but nothing compared to TRUE lies.
Thumbs UP for TOT at the moment

That's interesting... I am gettting 3401 kb/s download and 401 kb/s upload.
With the fast download in the US, at least you can download more videos, while some make them here...
