I *love* Microsoft - you get "The Requested Web Page is Not Available" when going to the above 'Help' section.
Every few months, many of the Help and Knowledgebase sections cease to exist for this reason. It's amazing how a large copany like that can't get their act together.

I've ran into this problem quite a few times over the years. When this happens, just hit the "refresh" key or F5 to reload the page. Normally, this will fix the problem and you'll be able to save a pic as a Jpeg.

i lost all my IE search engine functions some time ago and I was advised to install Mozilla Firefox and I now use that to search and no problems.
it's when I view anything which I have saved in 'my favourites' that I have the problem.
earlier I was just having a look and I found that some of the webpages I have saved are available to me as jpegs and others as bitmaps.
very annoying.
would it work if I was to move everything I want to view from 'my favourites' to Firefox?

just seen the hint from Bob and that seems to have done the trick.
