Without a doubt, many people who did register will be cut off.
I only hold a 50% expectation of keeping my numbers, despite having registered all of them some time ago.
80% of people registered in the south and their numbers disappeared.
Haven't heard as to whether thay got them back or not.

When asking to be registered, I provided my name, address, Country and passport number and they were happy with that information, confirming my registration.
But to be on the safe side, I`ll be contacting the tgf and getting her to confirm or re register my phone number.

I hadn't heard about the deadline being suspended, but my number continued to work without problems. I did go to the nearest DTAC store and register. They didn't want to see my passport - just write everything down on a piece of paper and that was it.
Also, I haven't heard of anyone who had their number stop working.

BANGKOK: -- The ICT Ministry has decided to postpone the deadline for registration of pre-paid SIM cards until further notice. No new deadline is given either to network operators or users. Both call centres have no further information for the time being.
I did not expect for one minute that the PM would shoot himself in the foot by reducing by one satang any revenue loss this would create to AIS.
