I bought mine in Singapore for about $80.00 Sing ($50 USD). Fairly easy to buy now, many brands all from Taiwan it looks like. Mine is a BAFO (I think as its in the Office).

I stayed at the Marriot last time and they do have dsl for 600 baht, 12pm to 12pm. That's about $13 for 24 hour usage. It's easy to setup for my laptop.

the royal cliff is 20 baht a minute in pattaya (with 24hours free access if you spend 30 minutes min) thats really 600 baht for 24.5 hours access.....alittle steep , but its 200 baht to go in a merc downtown then you end up doing a few beers /bj and everything else, the i will be 2 hours turns into 5 and 3000 baht! wish i had paid the bastards and saved the nagging, still real thing beats words!
