In any case I don’t see my posts as being all that negative towards Apple or its products. I have given them credit for having good products and I have remarked that the “jack the price and gouge the geeks routine” has been played out by other suppliers (Motorola – razor). I don’t see that I have even been giving Apple a hard time about dumping the price, nothing for me to bitch about since I did not pay $200 bucks more than I needed to get a phone.
I simply doubt the key to the price cut was inventory as opposed to a move to increase sales/ market share.
As for crap…. Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder one mans crap is another mans black gold.

The problem is that you have proven you are smarter than the Duck. This is a dangerous thing to do because it threatens his self-esteem.
In order to maintain the illusion of his superiority he now has to have you branded as insane by the rest of the members of the Forum, hence his attack on you.
It should not be a surprise to you considering the attacks he has made on LY. Not to say that LY may not have a problem but I believe that his attacks on LY were rooted in the fact that LY could easily pull more girls than the Duck even though LY is short and fat whilst the Duck is (in his mind) a model of fitness.
Mind you I do not the psycho-analytical skills that the Duck thinks he has (but then again the Duck doesn't have the psycho-analytical skills he thinks he has either) but it seems to me that the best way to help the Duck is to continue to support his delusion of superiority until such time as he comes (as LY did) to recognize his problems.
In short, since we all know what the facts really are, just agree with everything the Duck says so the topic can move on...
