yup, it does look impressive, just read the Tech Spec page. However, how will OS X Tiger cope when you load up the monster with 16GB of 667MHz DDR2 ECC RAM? I think that's a job for (the forthcoming) OS X Leopard in 64-bit mode.
Great machine but it does ask you for a lot of moolah, when in full spec mode

howdy,
at the moment i'm still setting the machine up, but overall i'm very please with it.
i'm still getting the php/mysql/mambo thing going, and i've got so much warez I don't know what to do with it all...
but, overall i'm going to use it for two major tasks.
1) web development using mambo, and
2) music using Logic Pro, GarageBand, and Reason.
i think, if there is one thing i'm bothered by is the fact that I couldn't wait to buy it...i know that a new series of systems are coming out soon, but damn, I HAD to have the machine!
