No. That I do not remember; I mean from factory coming with all 4 languages together. But I remember -not not sure which now- seeing some that had Chinese and Thai together with English.
But from what I read, the Symbian operating system for the allows to add language packs (I am sure Dafry will lecture us about it).

Nokia's actually quite flexible when it comes to supporting additional languages - in fact, some of the vendors in MBK will gladly accommodate that, as long as you give them an accurate list of what you want - and there are 'third-part' language packs out there to combine. There are some combinations, though, that aren't kosher, as I recall. I never had a need for that variety of languages, so I confess a lack of competence when it comes to. BK, on the other hand, is the avowed master for internationalization of the iPhone 
S M E G M A - if the 'someone' with the problems with his iPhone is interested, I could probably fix his issue for him (along with his SIM card issue) relatively easily and quickly remotely. Depends on your friend, of course, and who it is.
Either way, his symptoms appear to be less of an issue of the 'mighty iPhone becoming a problem', and rather one of having inherited a bad hack on his iPhone that contributed to this. Seems he was one of those that ended up with a TurboSIM hack (a very thin SIM override circuit, that is glued to a SIM, but the SIM needs to be cut to accommodate it), which worked at one point, but are prone to problems. If they are serious about getting it fixed, send me a PM.

There's only one so far, and it is impressively done as far as copies go (even the interface is imitated), but if that's the case, he wouldn't need a SIM hack (these clones are unlocked, and even support dual SIM cards).
He's got a genuine iPhone, just a shitty hack/unlock.

Interesting but maybe not in the majority.
All the lads at work in BKK have their iphones and happily read this and other forums, email pics from Pattaya beach or Nana to me in Singapore. They are computer savvy but not nerdy enough to go changing the insides of their iphones. Lots of addons though from their installer. games, Thai-English talking dictionary, voice recorder, Singapore transport sytem schedules and maps, a locator(similar GPS, works in Singapore but not so good in Thailand), scientific calculator for work, real good music player, ebook reader and a load more.
None of them have had to have anything recracked, jailbroke....they just work.
I got a copy (Meizu) from Hong Kong, works like a charm.
However there are 3000 baht copies in Laos...really! These could be suspect.

That Laotian phone is a Chinese rip off (iphonelove). But look at the specs, you will find that they have modified it substantially, only 2 bands (900/1800MHz) vs 4 bands. And it looks a lot thicker than the iphone. However, it accepts 2 SIM cards, now that's interesting and removable batteries. Price : USD 152-180
