“Said [Steve] Jobs.....When the second-generation iPhone comes out this fall, we want iPhone users to feel not just Jealous, but downright Foolish for owning such Laughably Primitive Technology”

Sorry Duck, sounds like your Saviour just labelled you a Fool

You don't read well, do you?

Might want to ask for a refund from your school, or whoever claims to have been responsible for your primary education.

Big rumours flying around that Steve sold 10's of thousands of Apple shares ( perhaps part of the reason for the huge stock fall) and will anounce he has purchased a microsoft based programme ( to be tweeked by Nokia) for the next generation Iphone. Amazingly it WILL also have AUDIBLE and easily, adjustable ringtones, that is a good thing for a phone

It's amazing... how you guys think you are being funny, but you really just end up coming across as really dumb.

Let's see - Apple, along with the announced release of the SBK (which will result in tons of apps for iPhone), also announced the licensing and integration of Microsoft ActiveSync into iPhone software 2.0, for perfect integration with corporate Exchange servers.

Subsequently, the stock has gone from the 119s, to the current 130s. Try again.

Considering Steve Jobs has well in excess of 30 *million* shares of AAPL common stock, I can see how the financial world would be greatly worried about him selling 10s of thousands of those, and thus barely even registering as a blip on financial radars.

Kinda sad when folks have to resort to plain fantasies, and lying... sigh!

Yeah, sorry about that - generally, for smart and intelligent people, there hardly ever is a downside. I bought at $118. Now it's at $133. Sounds like a good deal.

Earlier, bought at $133, held on, it's back at $133. Sounds like a no loss to me.

Much earlier, bought at $65 and $45. Certainly can't complain now.

Does it bother me that the stock was earlier at $200+ and now is down to $133 (and $119, earlier). Not in the least - see above. It just simply means that there is a good likelihood it will return to $200, or better.

Considering that Apple is weathering (and is in a position to) the economic problems of the US much better than other companies, and there'll be some nice surprises at the end of the year, I'd suggest we compare your doom/gloom propaganda, and my optimistic outlook by the same time next year.

Maybe it'll be lobster season...

Finally, after 66 pages of thread, I'm fed up and I would like all members to just stop and ignore it so it will eventually die.

1] I was a great fun of Nokias and Palms, now I own an iphone: up and downs in every piece of machine.

2] This is not a stock exchange related forum and 99% of peope do not give a shit of how much apple's shares have bee bought and sold.

3] A person that replies to every single post against his ireligion is sick....! When you start spending more time and efforts on creating and mantaining a life on the net, then there is something wrong with you

4] Smart posts are fun, funny threadf***ing and flaming are fun [or at least they used to be], but knowing how many times Jobs gets a hard on ain't no fun.
