Yeah, I noticed that after the 'BOLD' announcement, RIM stock went up. In bout 2 weeks or so might be a good time to short RIM stock, and make some money.

They are, at least, *trying*, though the problem with all of these competitors (really, RIM is the only one out there really competing), is they are all targeting *LAST YEAR'S* iPhone, and seem to be oblivious of the events in June and their consequences.
To wit - RIM is announcing the 'BOLD' and then deferring to availability later in Summer (i.e. after June). If they were shipping it right now, they might actually stand a chance to make a dent - but by essentially shipping their 'new' phones after the iPhone becomes available, they will just end up with lots of stock gathering dust...
...of course, there's always the 'THUNDER' waiting in the wings (the RIM full screen touch screen phone)

I typed in 'Blackberry Thunder' under the search field - the entire first page is filled with relevant results.
I typed 'RIM Thunder' under the search field - and you have to scroll down to the 7th result to see a relevant result, but nevertheless, it's there.
What's up with your Google?

Then again, the sleepy-heads' target window of opportunity is closing rapidly: stock's at $190 today, and rising - soon, to have returned to $200, I'm guessing.

i typed blackberry thunder got a load of pages about a rock group, then when I tried again it worked
blackberry did do a faux-iphone theme for your screen so all the features and logos icons etc resembled an iphone

A lot of phones did that -- but it's not just about the look, rather about the functionality, and how it's enabled.
The 'look-alike' themes really only illustrate how much iPhone Envy these folks have
