actually, if daffy is ignoring me, then how come I cant read HIS posts, im not ignoring him, I should still be able to read his posts

for the last 3 posts
and if he is replying to my posts (i dont know because I cant read his posts!) then why isnt he ignoring me
so BK, can you edit the ignore function so that whoever "ignores" another poster only blocks his own view - I mean why should I not be able to read daffy's posts?? he is the one ignoring ME - so that means he doesnt want to listen or read ME, im perfectly happy to keep reading what he writes about his boyfriend steve jobs, it makes me laugh every day!

Let me do the math for you.

Now, let's compare that to the same costs associated with deploying iPhones (cost per unit, $199 or $299), and beyond that, your monthly or yearly licensing fees are -- ZERO.
Add to that a development environment that allows your staff to create custom Enterprise apps; very easy distribution and creation of configuration files (that can be emailed to users and executed), and effective security, policy implementations, and remote wipe -- and you have a system and ecosystem that will save you over half a million a year, and makes your users more productive.

Remember, that Nokia & RIMM are at present working feverishly to devise an iphone killer; it's way to early to consider shorting RIMM, or, Nokia - my opinion.
The problem is that they are, as always, concentrating on 'beating' last year's model - which Apple just did with not just their new model, but the associated services they rolled out with it.
While *maybe* both Nokia and RIM might have devised something to give them parity about 12 months ago, at this point, that's unlikely to happen - particularly since both feel that the buzzword 'touch screen' will be their magic bullet.

Well, earlier this year, I brought a rather ravishing, but not very smart BG home to my hotel. A buddy of mine came along, as we were discussing some stuff. The girl was left to her own devices as we were chatting - she had, presumably, never seen or heard of an iPhone. She picked mine up after I put it on my desk, and within less than 10 minutes figured out how to use it.
I don't mean barely making calls - this girl was snapping pictures, browsing her favorite footy sites on the web, sending herself emails of the pictures she snapped like there's no tomorrow (ought to tell you something that SHE figured out how to send Photos, but snpark couldn't!) - and she was NOT the brightest bulb in the pack. Just a counter to your own criteria, QQ... This is not the only such instance, even -- more often than not, BGs were able to figure out the main functionalities of the iPhone within less than 10 minutes, without any instructions whatsoever. QED.

See my math at the beginning - combine that with 30% of Fortune 500 deploying iPhones - I think that's off to a good start... don't you think so?

To further illustrate - as I pointed out, it wasn't the girl that was smart, it's the phone
In almost all instances, completely random BGs were able to figure out to work iPhone, without any help whatsoever. This could not be said for my prior Nokia phones.
Likewise, equally interesting, while these girls are initially confused by the Mac OS X environment ("where is START button?") after roughly 10-20 minutes of fun showing how things work, and where they are these, these same girls become Mac demons... It's fun getting all kinds of fun emails from them, peppered with pictures, and occasionally popping into iChat for some video action...

While Steve may be a marketing genius, too bad the rest of the company failed to perform. What a f***ing diaster of a roll-out. Just rewards for the wankers waiting in line either because they have no life or want their 15 minutes of fame.

Snpark – for a while the ignore function was set up they way you have requested. But it seems someone did not like it that way and it was changed to the way it is now. I agree with you and think it should go back to the way it was before.
