I will be staying in a hotel with free wireless internet service and was wondering about availability and prices of renting a computer for a month. I know that internet cafes are cheap, but I would need to install some specialized software and get some serious work done (often times while not connected to the internet) in BKK.

Even if pay 1 baht per minute at an internet cafe, I figure I would spend about 6000 baht, which more than $150 USD. I would pay up to about $200 to rent a computer for the month.

but I notice that the same company's advert in Pantip Market.com says that the required documents for rental are a copy of company registration

I would think they would just require a large deposit in the case of a tourist/visitor

make SURE you keep your receipt for the deposit, if you intend to get your money back
