Hi guys
I have a mobile number for bangkok ( moo baan nakula)
it starts at 8473, I believe this was before the new 8 came in.
My question is there a prefix I have to put in front for the Moo baan district, putting a 8 in front of the 8
does not work, hence my ask for help.
The number is correct it has worked before?

No, no prefix. Mobile numbers are not related to location.
The eight already indicates a number after 10 digits came in place.

In total there should be ten (10) digits: 0 8 473 12345
If calling from outside of Thailand you dial +66 8 473 12345
Bear in mind that if you still can't get through...
1. It may be turned off 
2. It may be in a dead spot and has no signal or at least poor signal strength.
3. A monkey stole it from her Brother and threw it at a Buffalo who was trapped in mud by the river after he (BUF) rampaged through the village knocking her brother off his motorbike as he (BRO) was on the way to the Hospital with the expensive medicine for Granny... And now it's all lost so please send some money for a new phone, a new motorbike some new medicine for Granny and also to get the Buffalo a Therapist as he is now scared of mud and can't work in the rice field so the family may starve...
The Monkey can take care of him self!
