90% of the time, I am using my laptop in BKK and Pattaya for business. I am online alot to employees and customers and my emails are confidential. I have been staying at hotels with "security enabled wireless networks" (password controlled) and thought my emails and other communications would be safe from eavesdroppers, but now not so sure. How can I make my emails encrypted so even if someone has a password they cannot read my business emails. Is ADSL (land line) the only solution to the issue of privacy? I look forward to replies from those more knowledgable about this subject than myself. Thanks.

Far from it - True just mixes and matches people's logins all the time. Only way to be truly sure is to make sure ALL your communications are encrypted and signed.
