So I notice the TGF was sporting a new phone.
I was rather surprised when I saw the N96i name on the face plate, and even more so when I saw the NOKIA name on the back.
I was a bit concerned that she would spend so much on a phone (or was it that someone else would?), as I first thought this was a new followup model to the N95. But she told me she got it for 5000 Baht. I said no way.
So I search on the web this morning and I find this link...

The Nokia fakes (there is 3 or 4 different model fakes) have been around for about a year now in China. The N95/96 is not a bad phone & actually takes 2 Sim Cards (they cannot however work together). No GPS & it only slides one way.
The Interface is crappy & the Camera probably 1.3Mp but it does take Mini SD cards & the Bluetooth works. You can get them for about 1,000 RMB in China.
