Unfortunately, my favourite DNS service, OpenDNS, has started to block BTF from the network.
I guess back to the old DNS server of TOT... just too lazy to switch DNS for different sites.

There's absolutely no need to 'switch' DNS - simply configure the OpenDNS dashboard to not filter BTF - you would be running the client on your desktop anyway.
This is what I did, as well as using it to block specific URLs that feed advertisements or banners, so any annoying banners get removed before they even hit my home network.
BTF works fine through my OpenDNS administered settings.

Well actually I never registered, just put their IPs in my window settings.
I've registered now and it's working correctly.

I use OpenDNS writing this (that is the only complaint I have against my current internet provider, their DNS servers go down sometimes (rarely) ). I registered, but I would be surprised if they block anything by default.
