Which Is Which?
Reuters reporter Dan Levine, tweeting from the Apple-Samsung hearing before U.S. District Court Judge Lucy Koh yesterday:

Koh just held both tablets above her head, one in each hand, asked Samsung lawyers to identify which was which. Took them a while to do so…

Samsung's just getting more and more embarrassingly stupid.

Samsung Gets Dirty; Steals Little Girl from iPhone 4S Ad for its New Tablet Commercial

By: Hillel Fuld

By now, we have all heard about the ongoing battle between iOS and Android, or more precisely, Apple and Google. From day one, Steve Jobs was pretty open about his feelings toward Google and its new mobile offering.

In fact, he vowed to destroy Android, which he viewed, much like Windows in the PC space, as a cheap knock off of the Apple offering. Well, I think we can all agree that while Jobs did some phenomenal things in his life, this mission was not accomplished, far from it.

While the Apple Google war continues on, Apple is fighting another war, not on the software front, but on the hardware. Samsung and Apple are at each other’s throats, non stop. On the legal front, this is an ongoing saga, as The Verge so beautifully displays in this timeline.

But it doesn’t stop in court. Samsung recently took off the gloves and launched a campaign directly targeting, or should I say, ridiculing Apple fanboys around the world. If you haven’t seen them yet, see the first video below and the second one here.

Well, it looks like this battle continues to escalate, and Samsung seems to have hired the little girl we have seen in this iPhone 4S ad for its new Galaxy Tab 8.9 commercial, which you can see below. The new Samsung ad aired exclusively in native Korea. Samsung’s actually already pulled the video from its YouTube feed.

Well, things are heating up on this front, there is no question about it. The important thing is that the focus of this ongoing war remain innovation and competitive pricing, which seems to be the case if I am judging by all the tablets and mobile devices released by both Apple and Samsung in 2011. I don’t know about you but I am looking forward to seeing what 2012 brings to the table!
