harald: I can see why you're cynical about a new massage place, and you turned out to be right in your cynicism.
But I think that the reason people are getting so excited here is not because of the photos; or the fact there is a new massage place in Bangkok: but because someone's actually bothering to get some customer feedback.
Getting customer feedback is, as far as I can tell, utterly alien to the way almost all Thais think. You can have a moan if things are really bad, but then the chances are that either you'll be ignored or someone at the bottom of the organisation will be given the blame, often far more harshly than you intended. The idea of a learning organisation, molding itself over time to the needs, wishes and desires of its customers is very, very rare.
Which is why, I think, we are all delighted by EZ's presence on the board. Not because we think they are doing much other than plugging yet another massage place. But because we hope, possibly naively, that just maybe, we might be able to influence the evolution of this place, in a way that benefits us, benefits the parlour, and benefits the girls.
Who knows if it'll work out? But mocking EZ and treating them cynically definitely won't. So far, they've taken some of what we have said on board (eg the stuff about the opening times) and have treated us with the utmost respect. I would council treating them with respect until such time as they show that they don't deserve it; and trying to help them build their business. We've nothing to lose but the knowledge that we are right in our cynicism, and possibly a lot to gain.

its just interesting to discuss..........i mean nic was all excited about this place and he called it a waste of 2 hours-personally be4 he destroyed a new businesses reputation I would have thunk he would at least give it another try..................lol.
and to think nic called me the hater................lol.
exmple. re- opening times- ill say again it dont matter what time you open the stars wont show up till the sun goes down.
and again........doesnt anyone think op should tell us his role in the business!

I wasn't all excited, just Curious and yes it was a waste of 2 hours. Also, I believe my review wasn't all that negative... you should read what some others post about Annies.
Anyway, Advertising... good or bad is always positive... because as long as your business is being talked about, people will always try it.

EZ, you get one shot at this group, maybe 2 because you are new. If the next report comes in as lackluster as the first one, you might seriously consider rethinking your whole operation, and your talent, especially with the location you've chosen. You're right next to the hottest MP, at the moment, in Bangkok. The first reporter left your place, and went next door. Will he come back? I doubt it.
You might think about checking out your competition, if you haven't yet, to see why they are the best, and what you've got to do to compete. You definitely have to better train your girls. That is why the Eden Club used to be so successful, Mark was excellent at hiring, and training his girls. Not just getting the job done, but excellent at it.
With your location, you need the best girls (not photoshopped imposters), and not excuses that that is how the studio does it. The studio does what you tell them to do. Get rid of the photoshop garbage, that will not build you a good reputation, or garner repeat business, and you need repeat business. So far you are lacking in that area.
You are next to the best. If you deceive people with your website, they can very easily go next door. They know what they are getting next door, and it is consistent. Learn from them.
Again, you only get one shot at this with your location, and having to climb stairs is already a mark against you. What do you offer to make up for this that next door doesn't offer? Keep asking yourself this, and supply some answers. If you don't know what next door offers, then get in there, spend a few baht on research, and find out what you can offer that they don't. If everything is same same, people will go into the easiest place to enter. You have to set yourself apart.
In any business, you'll hear over, and over, it location location location. You unfortunately picked the worst location you could possibly have picked. Right next door to the number 1 MP is not where I would choose to be. There isn't going to be any overflow, and any one coming down there knows exactly where they are going, and why.
Good luck though, you are going to need it.

Actually I think the location is OK, better than the place chosen by let say....Victoria massage 
But really with all the other massage parlors around, EZmassage will indeed need to show it has some performers OR exceptionnaly cute girls (or both...ok I m dreaming..)
if they want to be abble to compete sucessfully and not be yet one more place where girls spend more time sleeping/watching TV than taking care of cutomers.
Time will tell...
