I went to Akane on Soi 33 today and wanted to avail of their Promo as the website mentioned it would start Nov. 11. They said, there was NO promo as of now. It would start on November, 19th only.
I was dissappointed, but I still took the S3 course. Kind of funny and a different experience but the massage did not really compare to other good places. However, everybody over there was very kind and friendly and no hagging for tips or extra service, that I found quite positive.

Visited Akane at BTS Sit Lom at around 9pm on Tuesday, not much crowd, all the girls seemed to be there. Chose Miko, looked cute to me and asked for S-5 course - body scrub plus fashion massage with lip service.
She gave me a table shower, and then soaped me all over, and after taking my permission, gave me the finger - (analytics, as they call it on their website). It was an interesting sensation, but nothing to write home about. The scrub was not enjoyable, so I stopped her in a minute and we went for the massage
THen went to the room, had some fun sucking her tits and fingering her (she objected initially, but was OK later). Then she gave me a lotion massage, really excited me, I came there and then. Gave me a regulaion massage for some time, then more lotion again and "lip service" - which really involved her putting lotion all over my back and rubbing her breasts and her body all over me, at the same time tonguing me all over my back and other sensitive parts.. Quite a sensation -- no rimming though...
THen afterwards gave me a shower and wiped me clean.
Summary : girl was young, great figure, EXTREMELY NICE, Polite, friendly,tender, playful, treated me like a king, all in all a very good experience. Highly recommended for 1500 Baht only, plus I gave her a 500 Baht tip which I dont think she was expecting but I thought she deserved it - a 21 year old girl, she put her heart into it, she was not going thru the motions as far as I could see. Everyone else was very friendly, no rushing, no asking for tips... This is my first trip to Thailand, no wonder all the guys are crazy over this place.. the girls here treat you like you were the last man on the planet.. not got this kind of attitude and treatmennt elsewhere...

Just wondering: do they not expect tips at
this place? If I remember correctly, I read
somewhere that at most Japanese style
massage places you do not have to tip...

Akane's website requests no tips and claims their rates are all inclusive. If Japanese go, there are no tips as tipping in Japan is considered insulting. However, since the Kingdom of Thailand is not Japan, the girls are not Japanese and patrons like most of us are also not Japanese, they'll take the tips.
At Sanzanka, I don't tip unless I can repeat the girl as I do business there in Japanese. However, I have tipped once, 500 baht, repeating the girl. If I can get the next girl I found there repeated, she wins 500 baht upfront.
Soapies 500 baht each, unless they give can get me to do 2 shots, then 1000 baht.

I have been going to Akane regularly for over one year nad have never tipped more than Bt100. It is not expected and the service is always very good every time.
Tip if you want but its certianly not expected or widespread.

left or are away on holiday (I've been told; but
have only been there once).
BTW: not too sure it is worth the money. The
service was good, yes - but I sort of prefer a

one can have at a lower price...

I know giving tips is very much dependent on the service and the person giving the tips but surely 500-1000 bat tips is way too much. There is no need to spoil the market like that right? I mean we should leave everything to market forces but why make things expensive for everyone unnecessarily.
