You guys are funny.... there is no point comparing 2 things that are different on the menu.
1. S3P = 90mn where the second girl joins for the last 30mn
2. S4 = VIP Room and 2 girls from the beginning
it's not a question of Hit or Miss.... it's a totally different menu option. And a different price as well

I would assume it's the one already in Soi 33.
The move will bring them closer to the street level as opposed to being tucked away near Peep Inn.

Possibly... but keep in mind the 33 location is mostly there to cater for the Japanese Clients so the move might not make a big difference for them.
It will certainly increase the business From Farangs..

Yes, 33 of course. The move amounts to about 150 meters, but it gives them storefront visibility on the soi. Won't make the slightest difference to the Japanese clientele, who are either local or following a Japanese monger map they downloaded. The new location will certainly result in more walk-ins... but I doubt they will contribute much to the business. Now that the Novotel chain has pulled out of the Lotus and is promoting 3rd world tour groups, the foot traffic profile along 33 has changed and it is not the type of customer the OM venues are looking for.
Better infrastructure would be my guess... the old location is very shopworn (read dingy). And the new place will be larger.

I had an S1 at Akane a coupe days ago. I had a nice enough time, although my girl's box was "closed for repair". Grrrrr. My favorite part of an Akane visit and got nothing!
A few observations: I have been visiting Akane for many years now. Gradually, I have seen a decline in quality of girls, as well as the way the product is presented. I also never know what kind of massage I will get. Each girl seems to have their own do's and don'ts, and its kinda frustrating to have such a lack on consistency. Also, the shop manager was not as friendly as she should be.
I will still go there from time to time, but wish they would pay more attention to details like they used to.

The new location features a large and pleasant reception area with sofas left over from the Best Massage regime. It seems odd to dedicate so much floorspace to the viewing/choosing area, since the routine is very businesslike at Akane and lingering is not encouraged.
The rooms (10) are an improvement over the old location... there are now en suite showers, which have been enlarged to accomodate the obligatory Yipoon washing stool. Newcomers who are not familiar with this part of the bathing ritual may be shocked to discover that they will be asked to squat on this uncomfortable apparatus (which exposes the nether regions like a toilet seat) while their provider soaps and washes the tackle and anus from below. Depending upon which provider is administering this treatment it can be benign, or it can resemble a rectal exam.
While I occasionally patronize the "Japanese style" venues, I have always been offended by the all-inclusive pricing model whereby the sexual component of the massage is built in to the tariff. This restricts the customer's freedom of choice, since it implies that a punter knows what sort of extra service they want before starting the session... personally I almost never know until I have sampled the lady's massage skills and determined something about her personality and attitude, not to mention her software. This policy also results in the owner taking a larger cut of the revenue generated from in house sexual activities. Better performers can make more money in an ad hoc pricing environment, which may help to explain why most providers at these establishments are not much to look at (note the previous post by Flash).
