I've always wndered why Tulip, Mango and Snow White do not service Thai customers. If a Thai man shows up, they tell him massage only with no extras. He usually leaves then.
I've heard that the MPs don't like to deal with Thai men because they are difficult. Sometimes they don't tip, sometimes, they threaten to get them in trouble with the police, etc. They also give the girls a lot of trouble. For that reason, it's easier not to serve Thais.
The Thais, however, do go to the high-end soapies. For some reason, they behave themselves better there than at the oilies.

Also in oily massage places, more often than not the Thai who show up are undercover police guy who just want to bust the place for extra money;
I remember once a Tulip girl telling me how she "took care" of one of those, giving him such a hard "thai traditionnal massage" that he was walking like a 70 years old when going downstair

Even accepting all this is true about the problems that oilies have had to suffer, I doubt that pictures of the girls would increase this particular type of Thai traffic, any more than it does for the countless other places with functioning websites with pics of the girls still up (including Tulips various spin offs). But who knows, perhaps that was Pim's logic all the same.
Still, given that places catering to westerners are no more than 10% of the P$P market in LOS, it's hardly like Thai men aren't getting serviced. But the economics of places like Tulips may have something to do with attracting the wrong sort (hence the undercovers). Or perhaps they resent places that falangs love (hence the abuse of the girls, although they are not be alone in that).
By offering a unique service, Tulips unfortunately also attracts some extreme types of behavior more generally.
