Thailien, your foreigners-talk-to-foreigner point is valid up to certain point. And that point is: we operate in a Thai environment.
For example: imagine that I make a joint venture with a smart massage girl and an equally smart lawyer and start doing businees by suing the most spicy web talk about this girl (not necessarily this site). Actually I wouldn't need the girl since the defamation law is a criminal law.
For various reasons this plan would not succeed and a court would most certainly dismiss the case (so don't worry, guys). But sooner or later such an opportunity might arise because foreigners in Thailand live under the delusion that they can act out everything the farang way with total disireregard for the host country and not get into trouble.
But more and more tourists getting into trouble just for that reason are witnesses to the contrary. And web sites do get closed by vigilant officials.

Thai people think and act like they own the country, that the law (as you so delicately put it) do not apply to them.
You should see how foreigners are treated by your law when in conflict with Thais, then we'll talk.
Not every Farang behaves like a cowboy in LOS, some of us have a decent job and live a quiet life.

Bluber, no need to go legal on the forum. Mostly good info and friendly banter. If you don't like names being dropped concerning service providers, IMO, make it your mission to PM people and ask them to refrain.
I am no expert, but I am quite certain Thais Do own this country.
As for the issue of honesty, integrity, sincerity, IMO, no culture has a patent on these and all will bend them to suit their needs and desires.... west or east.

bluber, you're trying to instill Western morals into Thai culture.....lolol. You are totally not in touch with Thai class, or culture.
You seem to overlook the fact that in Thai culture working girls are just about as low as you can get in the class structure. So any legal action you might think you could initiate on their behalf would be laughed out of court, even if you could find a lawyer that would handle the case. I hate to be so crass, but it's true.
You need to quit trying to instill your Western ideas into the culture. Thais actually hate that.....lol.
