I agree with H444 for once... throwing this story at the beginning of the session would tell me she was more looking for "Pity" and extra cash rather than a sympathetic ear.

Ok my bad, she was robbed of 9k by the thief(s) and she fought back but was shaken and hurt. I understood the 3 days as recovery and getting her head back to normal. I dont think she was telling a sob story just making conversation the bruises and cuts were not nice.
Like I say kinda killed the vibe for me, I am sure that she would be excellent another day. But I did feel sorry for her (I am a soft lad). She got her 2k as we tried for 2 pops my only point was I am in fantasy land and she is in a harsh reality.
