We have a place outside Udorn. Last year we were getting NFL football on True Satellite.
I have been in Saudi since December last year so my wife cut the gold package off. I will be returning at the end of this month and restart it.
Check with True and see if they still have it, the Gold Package, as I recall.

Any info on cost/company contact on getting internet (high speed, or fairly fast) connections in Udon. Actually, living a few miles out of town in Nong Wua So.

if you do get good internet speed try streaming, i'm living north of Kalasin and found this website where I can watch many live English football but I have noticed there are many live American sports.

click on this link 10 minutes before the game starts and your well away. sometimes there is a bad picture but there is usually more that one so keep looking if the quality is bad.

Concerning NFL coverage, your answer lies with the NFL itself.
For $239.99 they offer every regular season game until the end of the season. It is live coverage except for certain local market blackouts. The big bonus is that for their HD package you can view any game in the season until your subscription expires on January 1 2009.
You certainly cannot do better than this.
The NFL website offers full details on gamepass.nfl.com.
Now if the Vikings can get their pass offense movng with Gus Frerotte.....

The problem with the NFL package is that it relies on the internet. Quite a few folks in LOS that don't have a fast enough connection to use the NFL package - me being one of them.
It requires something like 300kps connection speed, and I only hit that mark about half the time, and I never know until game time if the connection will be sufficient or not.
I'm too cheap to pony up for a better connection - right now I have about the fastest connection option LOX offers for home use. If I want to upgrade I'd have to get one of the business packages that are a fair bit more expensive.

XPC, this Gold Package you speak of, does it show all the NFL games each Sunday or just a select few(not your choice of games either) ?
Nothing would be finer than knowing that I can watch all the games of my favorite team during the season.

It's not like a direct tv subscription. They show 2 games at 12:00 and 3:15 AM, and later in the week on tape delay. Next live game is Tenessee vs. Green Bay. True Sport Channel 4. Last year, they showed MNF and SNF live on ESPN, but it didn't start until later in the season. ESPN Asia hasn't shown these games so far this year, but hopefully will start soon. They do show some college football, however.
