I go out as much as I can to P4P places but time is not on my side, to much work. I do not need to go to P4P places to get it, even now at the ripe old age of 31, I am putting on weight a bit to much but it dose not seem to stop the non P4P girls talking to me. Plus I have a live in girl as well and she tries to keep me on a short leash but I am sure she knows what I do but I do not shuv it in her face.
Any way 3 years in total for me here and I found in the 1st year I was jumping back and forward BKK to Pattaya etc and all most every night was going out on the town whether it be GOGO, box bars, clubs, etc. Now I find my self going out 2 times a week one with her in doors and one on my own, it’s just the time factor for me, plus before doing real work I was a Pro trumpet player and that has come back into my life again, not so much of the playing on the scene around here as there is not really one for a ferang trumpet player but I have got back into practicing 2 hours a day.
I love my home in the UK, I spend about 2 months a year back there, my home city I still say is one of the best in the world ( I have been to almost all the major city’s in the world with my old job so I can say with some confidence about this) and every time I go back home I do not find my self counting the days to when I come back to Thailand but I am still glad when I hear the sound of the lady in the airport speaking on the load speaker system in Thai. Smells like pussy to me.
I am sure that when I retire (5 years I hope) that I will be out every night same as before and I will kill my self in another 5 years from drinking too much eating too much and shagging to much. It may sound a morbid thing but what a way to go.

I limit my outside activities to weekends and high holidays as I am usually starting early and working late. When I go out I pretty much keep content with one of the 2 or 3 ladies I know well, and usually hit GT, the Bamboo Bar, or the Huntsman depending on which (if any) lady I am with.
If I am on extended holiday (like our P4P tourists), I take one girl, leave LOS, and sail, dive, or golf.
Funny that this is no different from my life in any other country I work in. I guess when you are working every day life tends to evolve that way to achieve balance.

Been here for 10 years, I figure I hit a massage parlor or gogo at least 3 times a month. In between I've got a couple giks that I can see another 3 to 4 times a month. There are also the occasional overnighters (LT) at a nice Suk hotel maybe once a month. Got a full time Thai GF as well (high so gal - thankya very much).
I wouldn't say that it gets old but the scene does lose some of the appeal it once had. That said I thank the powers that be that I live in the LOS as there are thousands of guys that would give the left nut to do so.

As a resident of 12 years and visiting LOs on a more-than-regular basis for 22 years, I've made the same conclusions as Scobie.
Although I've been out in the last week every night (the mother in law is staying) it usually boring.
It seems wherever you go, girls have become more agressive for LDs and tips. More scavengers, less friendly girls.
Where it was common that a girl would talk to you for some time, it seems that 'Buy a drink' sounds before even saying the first hello.

i've lived here 3 years, am 29 years old. the first 9 months I was here I was out every day and night like a hound. i've gradually slowed this rate to the point where I go out maybe twice a week, usually to Nana. I have 4 regulars I call over when i'm horny, each a specialist in their own niche. other than that I chill at home a lot nowadays, watch the sunsets, go out to nice dinners, every few months or so I do a trip around the world to reset my Bangkok-o-meter and so forth.

What do you live on after the year is up hmmmm?
Not a good idea. Suggest you keep the dream, save money, and retire here when you can average an income of USD15,000 per year in retirement benefits.
Most of us who live here work here too! (xpatchuck not withstanding, he are retired!)
By the way xpc, you still messing around with the partridges or did you leave them in Dubai??
