Hi, So here is my trick: * Catch up with some local uni, try to do some freelance teaching there for 1-2 days a week and you can select talent yrself ! * Maybe not sound professional but goto thai chatsites sometimes and catch up with some ppl, I even mixed business with pleasure meeting nice horny girls with brains who helped my out on some business issues ! * Thais think on short term, make it long term by giving them performance based salary and regular bonusses * Don't expect miracles from them, this country has no industrial and services industries background and past. All is new to them, they are willing to learn but their habits and the (lack) of systematic and disciplined approach makes it more difficult too. * Employ ladies rather then men, they are more sincere, loyal and willing to work. * Build some company spirit by taking them out once in a while to a nice farang place for food and drink, offer them discounts for the gym, english and computer courses etc (in their own time off course) * Check / check / check ! Asking questions how to do something or saying they dont understand will mean lose face so they will not do that. You have to invest time in this otherwise it will not work. * Outsource yr finance and accounting, for a fixed price you get the services you need * I've met many talented people here but they need attention. Be aware that farangs are more though and straight then them so that needs attention. Im working for myself now here in bkk and can sort out most of the things myself also so I dont need any staff, but when I need someone I can call and they will help me !
