Slightly off topic BUT: would like to get Abrak opinion on the following: I believe that property being developed in Pratumwan, on the same side of the street as Pantip Plaza before you reach it is called Platinum Center or words to that effect. Nearby Grand Diamond. It is pretty massive. Unusually today I happened to come by Discovery center on Paya Thai & turned left onto Rama 1 only to be confronted by "renovations" (& expansion) to Siam Center. Wow. My question is, with all this commercial space coming onto the market - is there enough demand? or will prices collapse once these & other projects come on line? Looking North out of Big C one can see that Pratunam Center Tower 1 is topped out & Tower 2 will be shortly. One more aside - they have closed Khampang Phet 7 - looks like the destruction of the Hopewell Trusses is proceeding apace. Congrats - f***ing outbound on (New) Petchburi is murder.

Yeah, you click on the link, the site displays just fine... Try the root URL that Abrak provided, as an alternate.

No, I didn't try the root URL (as it is called?) until today and I am now in. Wish I was smart.

Quote: from slowx on 12:28 am on July 7, 2005 sky villas is 60 years lease.
You sure about that? After all, Alifco, who knows a lot, is convinced that 30 years is the maximum leasehold. I'll stick with most of the information provided by Abrak, who *does* know a lot, by virtue of being knowledgeable in this field (Thanks, Abrak, for all of the information in this thread)
went to see sky villas today. they have been marketing it as 60 years but it is actually 30 + 20 + 10 years.. so strictly 30 years is the right info... side note : sales ladies there are the worse ive encountered. hardly know anthing abt the project.. all I have after leaving the project is a nameless card, with pencil scribbled price for 3 units.. abrak, saw that u have appointed cbre for your little project.. best of luck with sales.. its one of my fav sois but only to cut across to soi suanplu to make that u-turn onto north satorn.. might dropby one of these days to snoop around..

Gosh Duffy, I hate to be right all the time. I recall mentioning that you were a fool also, I dearly hope I am wrong about that one.

Saw the Lakes on my last trip. Location is pretty good if Suk is where you like to hang out. The problem I have with this development is the office/garage building right next door ( and very close to this building) that is quite unsightly to look at. Make sure you pick a unit that does not have to look at this ugly neighbor.

any coincidence they are all raimonland projects? on the lakes, depend what your normal mode of transport is to suk... if u drive, forget abt it if u know how bad the jam at qscc to asoke junction is, especially on fris, sats and afternoons when the stock exchange closes..
