Daffy - you would probably need to see the full report to see how luxury apartment was defined. I am sure it will be defined in the full report as the research was carried out by a respected professional firm and are, I gather, experts in their field. As I see it the CNN article does not go into that degree of detail as it is just that - an article to draw attention to the research work.

I think we are talking two different things : Most expensive city to live in Asia maybe Tokyo, but most expensive real estate to buy in Asia is HK. Besides, some of our now sadly departed bros ( Smeggy, TWD etc.) did not include Japan as being in Asia, so I did not count Tokyo for fear of them re-surfacing and insisted on another round of mind twising argument. Gosh, I misss those guys !

I pulled out my Atlas & looked at it. Yep Japan is in Asia.
Case Closed.
Btw I see not Hong Kong'ers down here on cheap shopping/golf trips. I see Taiwan'ers.
And the Japanese can go to a restuarant & pig out for 1/10 of what they pay back home.
Always see 4 6 8 guys at a table, they don't bring their women. Ultimate mongers.
I bet you they consider Thailand as hardship duty.

quick, buy a unit there and we share notes in 5 years time, on the investment.
at 69 (3+66) storeys, view should be spectacular.

You havent told us the pricing!!
I dont like the idea of 725 luxury condos in one building - hardly makes it exclusive.
I would question whether this project will ever get built. At 68,000sqm, it is probably the largest residential project by far and one of the top ten largest buildings in Bangkok. I cant see Thais buying this one.

It all depends on the price - it's freehold (now that I know what that means  , so I'd be moderately interested, if the price on the mid-section units is not unreasonable - of course, good point about 'if it ever gets built'.
